Maureen Scott: The Architect of Destruction

This is a true article, and yes it has been around before, but when an article or op-ed are excellent and accurate, is always good to share it again, and again.

From Maureen Scott
Maureen Scott is an ardent American patriot who was born in Pittsburgh, PA , and retired to Richmond, VA, in 2000. Free from the nine-to-five grind of writing for employers and clients, she began writing political commentary to please herself and express her convictions.
The accomplishment of which she is most proud is her volunteer work at an Army base where she looked into the eyes and hearts of the service members who protect our country.
Our Pledge of Allegiance, a military band playing the National Anthem, and the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, inspire her passion and views. Her life is guided by a firm belief that truth is the most important virtue, and that God knows what He is doing with her.
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, could have described this President more accurately. This is a brief biography that articulates the man, his life and his goals perfectly!

The Architect of Destruction
Barack Obama appears to be a tormented man filled with resentment, anger, and disdain for anyone of an opinion or view other than his. He acts in the most hateful, spiteful, malevolent, vindictive ways in order to manipulate and maintain power and control over others. Perhaps, because, as a child, he grew up harboring an abiding bitterness
toward the U.S. That was instilled in him by his family and mentors…it seems to have never left him.
It is not the color of his skin that is a problem in America.
Rather it is the blackness that fills his soul and the hollowness in his heart where there should be abiding pride and love for this country.
Think: Have we ever heard Obama speak lovingly of the U.S. Or its people, with deep appreciation and genuine respect for our history, our customs, our sufferings and our blessings?
Has he ever revealed that, like most patriotic Americans, he gets “goose bumps” when a band plays “The Star Spangled Banner,” (no he gets goose bumps when he hears the ”Muslim call to prayer” (his words) or sheds a tear when he hears a beautiful rendition of ” America the Beautiful?” Does his heart burst with pride when millions of American flags wave on a National holiday – or someone plays “taps” on a trumpet? Has he ever shared the admiration of the military, as we as lovers of those who keep us free, feel when soldiers march by?
It is doubtful because Obama did not grow up sharing our experiences or our values. He did not sit at the knee of a Grandfather or Uncle who showed us his medals and told us about the bravery of his fellow troops as they tramped through foreign lands to keep us free. He didn’t have grandparents who told stories of suffering and then coming to America, penniless, and the opportunities they had for building a business and life for their children.
Away from this country as a young child, Obama didn’t delight in being part of America and its greatness. He wasn’t singing our patriotic songs in kindergarten, or standing on the roadside for a holiday parade and eating a hot dog, or lighting sparklers around a campfire on July 4th as fireworks exploded over head, or placing flags on the grave sites of fallen and beloved American heroes.
Rather he was separated from all of these experiences and doesn’t really understand us and what it means to be an American. He is void of the basic emotions that most feel regarding this country and insensitive to the instinctive pride we have in our national heritage. His opinions were formed by those who either envied us or wanted him to devalue the
United States and the traditions and patriotism that unites us.
He has never given a speech that is filled with calm, reassuring, complimentary, heartfelt statements about all the people in the U.S. Or one that inspires us to bebetter and grateful and proud that in a short time our country became a leader, and a protector of many. Quite the contrary, his speeches always degenerate into mocking, ridiculing tirades as he
faults our achievements as well as any critics or opposition for the sake of a laugh, or to bolster his ego. He uses his Office to threaten and create fear while demeaning and degrading any American who opposes his policies and actions.
A secure leader, who has noble self-esteem and not false confidence, refrains from showing such dread of critics and displaying a cocky, haughty attitude.
Mostly, his time seems to be spent causing dissension, unrest, and anxiety among the people of America, rather than uniting us (even though he was presented to us as the “Great Uniter”).
He creates chaos for the sake of keeping people separated, envious, aggrieved and ready to argue. Under his leadership Americans have been kept on edge, rather than in a state of comfort and security. He incites people to be aggressive toward, and disrespectful of, those of differing opinions. And through such behavior, Obama has lowered the standards for self-control and mature restraint to the level of street-fighting gangs, when he should be raising the bar for people to strive toward becoming more considerate, tolerant, self-disciplined, self-sustaining, and self-assured.
Not a day goes by that he is not attempting to defy our laws, remove our rights, over-ride established procedures, install controversial appointees, enactdivisive mandates, and assert a dictatorial form of government.
– Never has there been a leader of this great land who used such tactics to harm and hurt the people and this country.
– Never have we had a President who spoke with a caustic, evil tongue against the citizenry rather than present himself as a soothing, calming and trustworthyforce..
– Never, in this country, have we experienced how much stress one man can cause a nation of people – on a daily basis!
Obama has promoted the degeneration of peace, civility, and quality of cooperation between us. He thrives on tearing us down, rather than building us up. He is the Architect of the decline of America, and the epitome of a Demagogue.

Hannity’s Headlines: Mexican Drug Cartels Smuggling Terrorists into Texas

Mexican Drug Cartels Smuggling Terrorists into Texas

While the Obama Administration is busy planning to grant executive amnesty for even more illegal immigrants, Mexican drug cartels are busy smuggling individuals from countries with terrorist ties into a small town near El Paso, TX.

According to Judicial Watch, the individuals-classified as “Special Interest Aliens”-are being smuggled via farm roads (rather than highways) to avoid Border Patrol and law enforcement barriers.

Judicial Watch says their law enforcement and intelligence sources confirm that these aliens are also being smuggled through border region airfields, including the Horizon Airport (formerly known as the West Texas Airport).

Couple this report with a 2013 study by the Center for Immigration Studies that found that “98 percent of the approximately 550,000 individuals on the terrorist watch list are foreign-born. Roughly 10,000 to 20,000 on the watch list reside within the United States” and it isn’t hard to see we have a major problem on our hands.

When will the Obama Administration and governing elites realize that the first step to preserving America and protecting her citizens is to close the borders?
Something has got to change.

An Early Poll Lead Is Not Always Best
As the race for President continues to heat up, we’ve seen resilient Donald Trump grab a larger lead in the race for the GOP Presidential nomination. Monmouth University released a poll showing Trump with a 14 percent lead over former Florida Governor Jeb Bush. It’s clear that Trump is shaping up to be the one to beat but we’ve seen this story before.

In 2012, just before the Florida GOP Primary, Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich had a 9 point lead over Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. As the field narrowed with the departure of former Senator Rick Santorum and Congressman Ron Paul, Gingrich found it more difficult to maintain his momentum and eventually, Romney found his footing and pulled through.

Over the next few weeks we will see a significant change in the polls as the 17 candidate field starts to whittle down. If Donald Trump is sitting with this same lead by the middle of September, we may indeed know who’ll be facing Hillary Clinton… if she can survive her own troubles.

13 Hours

Hillary Clinton finally will get what she deserves, remember karma is karma, and Hillary dear this time “It would make a difference.”

Hillary can’t be happy. A new trailer for what looks like a blockbuster movie was just released and it happens to be about Benghazi.

The movie, “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi,” is based on the personal stories of six American security contractors who were assigned to protect CIA assets. The film is set for release in January — just as the presidential primary campaign kicks into high gear. And the trailer is incredible. Watch it here.

Values Voter Summit 2015

Values Voter Summit was created in 2006 to provide a forum to help inform and mobilize citizens across America to preserve the bedrock values of traditional marriage, religious liberty, sanctity of life and limited government that make our nation strong. It has drawn as many as 3,000 plus attendees from around the nation and foreign countries. Garnering national and international media attention, CNN named it “one of the conservative movement’s marquee annual events” and Sean Hannity called it “the premier conservative event now in the country.”

Value Voter

Each year, it showcases the nation’s leading conservatives voices such as all 2008 and 2012 Republican presidential candidates; Senators Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Tim Scott and Rick Santorum; Representatives Paul Ryan, Michele Bachmann, Steve Scalise, Jim Jordan, Steve King, James Lankford and Allen West; Governors Mike Huckabee and Bobby Jindal; media hosts Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Lou Dobbs, Dr. Bill Bennett, Cal Thomas, Lt. Col. Oliver North and Mark Levin; Dr. Ben Carson; Kirk Cameron, Star Parker, and many more. Mariam Ibraheem, the Sudanese Christian sentenced to death for her faith, was honored with the inaugural Cost of Discipleship Award in 2014.

Since its inception, the Summit’s primary sponsor has been FRC Action, the legislative affiliate arm of Family Research Council. Through the years, FRC Action has had the privilege of partnering with other like-minded sponsors including The Heritage Foundation, American Family Association Action, Alliance Defending Freedom, American Values, Liberty Institute, Liberty Counsel, Liberty Counsel Action, Liberty University, Family Research Council and, for the first time this year, Ohio Christian University. Other partnering organizations have also included Media Research Center, Young America’s Foundation, National Religious Broadcasters, National Organization for Marriage, Patriot Voices, Students for Life, The Timothy Plan, Vision America and Susan B. Anthony List.

Hannity’s Headlines: Rise of the Conservative Rebellion

Rise of the Conservative Rebellion
On Friday we saw Senator Ted Cruz chastise Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for his part in fostering a deal to revive the controversial Export-Import Bank. Perhaps in a more bold attack of the GOP leadership, Cruz said “We’ve had a Republican majority in both houses of Congresses now for about six months. What has that majority done? First thing we did, in December, we passed a $1 trillion omnibus plan filled with pork and corporate welfare. Then this Republican majority voted to fund Obamacare, voted to fund President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty. And then the leadership rammed through the confirmation of Loretta Lynch as attorney general. Madam President, which of those decisions would be one iota different if Harry Reid were still majority leader? Not a one. Not a one.” You can watch Cruz’ full remarks on

LISTEN: Sean’s interview with Sen. Cruz

Republican Senator Orrin Hatch countered by saying, “Squabbling and sanctimony may be tolerated in other venues and perhaps on the campaign trail, but they have no place among colleagues in the United States Senate.”

I couldn’t disagree more. Senator Cruz’s remarks will, hopefully, give rise to the Conservative Rebellion in the House and the Senate. This is the beginning of the crumbling of establishment republicans getting away with preserving their power and being weak and timid.

Hopefully the flood gates will begin to open and other conservatives in the House and the Senate will join Senator Ted Cruz to create a revitalized and relevant Republican party.

Authorities ignore US mosques at center of Islamic terror Attacks
Over the weekend, the New York Post reported that U.S. authorities are ignoring the connection between radical Muslims and the mosques they attend.

The post article says: “Property records show the mosque attended by the terrorist who killed US soldiers at a base in Chattanooga, Tenn. is affiliated with the same Islamic group at the mosques patronized by the Boston Marathon bombers and the 9/11 hijackers who attacked the Pentagon.”

The mosques are all connected to the North American Islamic Trust which-in 2007-was designated by the U.S. Justice Department as an “unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist financing case in American history.”

Will this Administration ever put political correctness aside and do what’s necessary to protect the American people?

CA DMV issues 400,000 licenses to Illegals

DMV issues 400,000 licenses to unauthorized immigrants

DMVThe California Department of Motor Vehicles issued nearly 400,000 driver licenses to unauthorized immigrants from January through June, following the start of a contested new law that green-lighted such action.

The Safe and Responsible Drivers Act was passed by the Legislature and signed by Gov. Jerry Brown in 2013 to allow qualified unauthorized immigrants to drive legally. It went into effect Jan. 2 after a long preparation period.

Supporters say the goal of the law, also known as AB60, is to make roads safer by insuring more drivers.

Critics, meanwhile, have said AB60 condones law-breaking. Some have said the licenses could be used to commit fraud and that it could increase security risks.

The nearly 400,000 licenses for applicants who are in the country illegally represent more than half the total number of original licenses issued by the DMV from January through June.

“The latest numbers reflect the continued successful implementation of AB 60,” said DMV Director Jean Shiomoto, in a recent press release. “The DMV was determined to develop a process that would not only meet the stringent requirements of this new law, but also the unique needs of our newly expanded customer base.”

Applicants must prove their identity and California residency, as well as meet all other licensing requirements such as passing the knowledge and behind-the-wheel exams.

The governor’s budget has estimated AB60 will cost $141 million over three years, according to the DMV. The majority of costs cover new agency staff.

The state expects to process as many as 1.4 million applications for the new licenses over the next three years. The state’s Motor Vehicle Account, which receives money from DMV license fees and other charges, will be used to pay for the program, the agency has said.

Wait times ballooned at DMV offices across the state after the program started in January, attributed by the agency to a larger-than-expected surge in applicants.

The average wait time in January for walk-in customers was 90 minutes statewide, according to the DMV. It was down to 60 minutes in February.

Altogether in the first six months of 2015, the DMV issued 759,000 original driver licenses. That includes approximately 397,000 for applicants through the new program, according to DMV figures.

The distribution of licenses is on pace to surpass the number of original licenses issued in recent years. Those figures are as follows: 902,028 in 2014; 863,196 in 2013; and 803,567 in 2012.

The state says there are more than 25 million current driver licenses issued in California.

Hannity’s Headlines: Advice for Donald Trump

Sean’s Advice to Donald Trump
Sean advised Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that he should “look at [his] negative numbers, and pick [his] fights.”Hannity said that he likes Trump, and many of the other candidates, and praised him for getting the country’s attention on immigration and the treatment of veterans. Sean also described the “energy” Trump brought to the campaign as “awesome,” “especially in the light of the weak, the timid, the pathetic Republican leadership in Washington.”LISTEN: Sean gives Trump advice for his campaignSean praised Trump for releasing Senator Sen. Lindsey Graham’s personal cell phone number which was “hilarious,” and added that Graham “deserved it.”Sean then shifted, and talked about what he would do if he was Trump’s campaign manager, which he said was in response to comments he had read on Breitbart. He stated that Trump has the nation’s attention, but pointed out that polls at this stage “don’t mean a whole hell of a lot.” Hannity pointed out that at this time in 2007, Rudy Giuliani was topping the polls and Fred Thompson was in second place, while Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, Herman Cain, and Newt Gingrich all led in the polls back in 2011. He continued that the first thing he would say to Trump is, “this is a marathon, it’s not a sprint,” and that he would remind Trump of the history of polling.

Hannity added, “He [Trump] needs to look at the negatives that he is drawing in,” and cited a Quinnipiac poll that showed Trump either dead last, or second to last among presidential candidates in favorability versus unfavorability numbers in Colorado, Iowa, and Virginia.

ISIS Turns Varsity, Officially
It was January 27th, 2014 when President Obama now famously told The New Yorker in response to questions about ISIS, “The analogy we use around here sometimes, and I think is accurate, is if a jayvee team puts on Lakers uniforms that doesn’t make them Kobe Bryant.” Fast forward nearly eighteen months later to FBI Director James Comeytestimony at a Senate Judiciary Committee that ISIS’ power had proven greater than that of Al Qaeda.I have spent a significant amount of time since August 19th, 2014, the day James Foley was brutally beheaded by ISIS forces, trying to convince the American people that ISIS is more than a junior varsity basketball team. Even CNN polling now shows that over 68% of Americans think ISIS is a threat to our security. They think that because they’re right! It took President Obama over a year to react to ISIS in any real way. That’s not the leadership we need to move this country in the right direction and it’s certainly something we need to consider on election day.

Rohit Joy: The Making of a Republican Contra Costa County

From the FlashReport:

The Making of a Republican Contra Costa County

[FlashReport Publisher’s Note: As part of an ongoing effort to bring original, thoughtful commentary to you here at the FlashReport, we are pleased to present this column from Rohit Joy, Chairman of the Republican Party of Contra Costa County.]

The Republican Party of Contra Costa County held a special election last Thursday to fill the vacancy in the chairmanship and I am honored and humbled to have been elected county party chairman by the members of the central committee for the remainder of the 2015-2016 term.

First, I would like to thank Nyna Armstrong, our immediate past chairman, for laying a foundation for a successful election cycle. Nyna made significant progress healing some of the acrimony that existed among different factions of the party, re-launching our speaker series, and forming working committees to perform nuts-and-bolts party building activities. Thanks also to our first vice chairman, Harold Bray, who led us as acting chairman until the special election. Hal’s passion was outreach, and he built solid relationships between our party and organizations such as the NAACP and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The work Nyna and Hal have already done will help me be a successful chairman.

Our first priority as Contra Costa Republicans will be to re-elect Catharine Baker to the California State Assembly. Our efforts to elect Baker began in 2011, when the California Citizens Redistricting Commission drew new districts for this decade. Numerous members of the Alameda and Contra Costa Republican Parties, myself included, testified at the commission’s meeting in Oakland, stating that we wished for the communities in Central Contra Costa and Eastern Alameda to be in the same Assembly district. We got a relatively favorable district with less than a six-point registration gap between registered Democrats and Republicans. In 2013, Baker began her efforts early, establishing herself as a strong candidate, building credibility within the communities in her district, and ultimately becoming the sole Republican to seek the seat. She won in 2014 with just over 51 percent of the vote.

Given the years of effort it took to elect a Republican to this seat, we must protect our investment. In 2016, we will be the primary political organization in Contra Costa County supporting Baker. We will assume responsibility for turning out Republican voters in Assembly District 14, allowing Baker’s campaign to focus more on building support among and turning out non-Republican voters. We will accomplish our voter turnout goals by identifying likely Republican voters using the latest technology, and then encourage these voters to go to the polls by engaging in member communications and on-the-ground precinct-level efforts.

Along with re-electing Baker, we will also focus on identifying candidates for local elected officials, boards, and commissions. There is no such thing as a non-partisan election. It is important to elect registered Republicans who share our principles to local offices, both to ensure that Republican principles are reflected in policymaking at the local level, and to build a “farm team” of potential candidates to run for higher office. We also must identify openings on appointed boards and commissions and candidates to fill them, as service in these bodies provides individuals with both name recognition and policy experience that helps them become successful candidates for local elected office.

In previous years, our county party has featured Republican candidates on the ballot for local office on door-hangers provided to Republican households. For example, in 2012, a year in which Republicans across California running for Congress, State Senate, and State Assembly lost every closely contested race, 34 Contra Costa County Republicans were elected to local offices. Most of these individuals were identified as being registered Republicans after they chose to run and were included in our campaign materials on that basis.

In 2016, we will not simply wait for Republicans running for local office to file, and help them out after the fact. We will proactively identify Republicans to contest offices in every city, supervisorial district, and special district, providing them with the resources they need to turn Republican voters out for them. We will continue to work with the state Republican Party to obtain door hangers and other collateral to communicate to our voters which “non-partisan” candidates are Republicans, along with introducing more “high-tech” methods of communicating to our voters such as such as email, text messages, Facebook, and Twitter, and using social media advertising to direct Republican voters to the state and county party websites, where all our candidates for local office are listed.

Accomplishing all these goals will take ample financial and human resources. I am blessed to have a capable leadership team who will help me build first-rate organizations in our precincts to turn out voters and execute our finance plan to raise sufficient funds for our operations. I invite you to join our efforts by donating any amount, large or small, to the county party here.

Thank you, and here’s to a successful 2016.

Rohit Joy is the new Chairman of the Republican Party of Contra Costa County.
